Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn MCKAY, raised in the Mormon First Family of the Church, utilized her writing talent as well as expertise in research to write the fascinating psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title of No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. The title was inspired by the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith who was the leader of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. Smith shocked his listeners by telling his audience: "You don't even know my name. It's been a long time since you've seen the inside of my mind." My history is unknown to anybody. I'm unable to share it. I wrote the 29-year old Fawn after that moment of candor there have been at least three hundred writers who have joined in the fight. Some people have tried to glorify him, others have accused him of being untrue. Some have even made an invasive diagnosis. But the problem is there are no documents. They're contradictory. This task is to delineate accounts from the plagiarism of third parties as well as to match Mormons' accounts with other religions to create the context of a credible historical narrative. is exciting and enlightening. FawnBrodie accepted the challenge of a professional. Her research and writings brought fame throughout the world: Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. An intimate The Story of Thomas Jefferson (1974) and a posthumously Richard Nixon.
