Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, raised in Wellington) is the name of a Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and was raised by Wellington Paquin's acting debut was in the role of Flora McGrath. For this part, she was awarded an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in the romantic drama The Piano at the young age of 11. The actress is second youngest winner in Oscar History. Anna Paquin's full title is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, on the 24th of July 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was a Canadian native New Zealand actress. As as a young girl, she was awarded her the Academy Award for best support actress. After responding to a call for auditions, she was able to audition when she was nine and having no previous experience in acting, she won Flora McGrath's part. Flora is the child of an Scottish musician who was blind. The couple were relocated to New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century in an effort to get married. Following her move to New Zealand, in the United States, she became an adolescent. Paquin played the lead role in Fly Away Home in 1996 as well as a brief appearance as Jane Eyre as still a toddler. Paquin was a part-time actress in the television movie of 1997 adaption of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. The actress also played the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as the Polexia Aphrodisa character in Almost Famous (2000).
