
Elizabeth Chase Olsen (born February 16th, 1989) is an American actress from the United States. Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She began acting when she was just four years old. In 2011, Olsen appeared in Martha Marcy May Marlene, her first film appearance. The film was critically acclaimed for the role and was nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Awards. Silent House was her next film part. Olsen was awarded an BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination and graduated from New York University two years after. Olsen was acknowledged for her performance as Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media. She appeared in the films of superheroes Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Captain America: Civil War (2016). The role she played in WandaVision received her nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Mystery Film Wind River (2017). She was the co-producer and lead actor in Sorry for Your Loss (2018), getting her a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination for her performance as a widow.
